The date of the session at the GJKKO is set/ When will Ilir Beqaj be questioned

Today GJKKO set the security measure "obligation to appear and ban on leaving the country" for former minister Ilir Beqaj.

After this decision, GJKKO will hold a session for Beqaj on November 20, at 12:00.

Beqaj will be interrogated as a person accused of abusing the sterilization concession.

Beqaj is accused of the criminal offense of "abuse of duty", after investigations into the sterilization concession, a 100 million euro affair.

We remind here that the investigation into sterilization started 3 years ago, for allegations of abuse of office, corruption and violation of inequality in tenders.

About 20 people were interrogated for this matter, including the former Minister of Health, Beqaj, doctors and members of the tender evaluation commission, as well as other officials of the ministry./  CNA
