On December 2, 2023, the DP Assembly will be held where former Prime Minister Sali Berisha will be voted in.

In relation to the meeting of the Assembly, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha spoke today where he stated that he intends to overthrow the dictatorship of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

" The main goal of the DP national assembly is to develop the opposition platform into action.

The Assembly is for an action plan against this dictatorship until its overthrow. The Assembly aims to make Albanian society aware with its messages about Rama's dictatorship", said Berisha.

As for the protest, Berisha warned of an emergency that no dictatorship will be able to withstand.

"We will reach a hurricane that has no dictatorship and that no one can withstand. Every oppositionist must swear his irrevocable determination against the dictatorship. In 1991, we overthrew a dictatorship because we stayed in a battle without return, we managed to unite young men, women, old people, men, women, this is happening and now, they will remain undefeated", said Berisha./ CNA
