The doctor Alketa Imeri Pere, involved in the "Oncology" scandal, has admitted that she was aware of sending patients to the "Megis" private hospital.

Pere said in a television appearance that he has also contacted the director about this matter, while he claims that he is innocent.

The doctor stated that he never told patients to go to private hospitals.

"A doctor with 30 years of experience who has saved thousands of lives. I went to work in '97 amid bullets, not even in covid that I stopped working. I have the worst relationship with surgeons because I told them not to take patients to your private hospitals.

I sent a message some time ago to the director where I told her about the problem. I knew that they took patients to private hospitals. I don't know what to say about the punishment.
