217 prosecutors and judges dismissed in 5 years/ another 92 escaped Vetting

In 5 years, they have been investigated by the first level of vetting. 620 judges, prosecutors and justice inspectors.

During the same period, 132 judges and 128 judges were confirmed in office.

113 prosecutors were confirmed in office and 85 of them were dismissed.

620 decisions in 5 years

The Independent Qualification Commission issued 620 decisions from February 8, 2018 to February 28, 2023.

258 decisions have been signed for confirmation in office for 132 judges, 113 prosecutors, 2 former inspectors in the KLD, 1 inspector in the KLJ and 10 assistants/legal advisors.

217 decisions were signed for the dismissal from office for 128 judges, 85 prosecutors, 1 inspector in the ILD, 1 inspector in the KLJ and 2 legal assistants.

Also, the KPK has given 92 decisions to stop the process for 57 judges, 23 prosecutors, 1 former prosecutor, 9 legal assistants, 2 former inspectors in the KLD.

8 decisions have been given to suspend the process for 3 judges, 1 prosecutor and 4 legal assistants in the Supreme Court (Article 56 of Law No. 84/2016.

 41 decisions were given to end the process without a final decision for 23 judges, 13 prosecutors, 1 former chief inspector in KLD and 1 former inspector in ILD.

As well as 4 decisions on the suspension from office for 3 prosecutors and 1 legal assistant. /CNA.al
