May 11 elections/ Rama, meeting with district leaders and candidates for deputies

Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a meeting with the 12 regional leaders of the Socialist Party.

The focus of this meeting will be the leaders' proposals for candidates for deputies who will be part of the lists of this political force in the May 11 elections.

Today, the Prime Minister will meet at the Government Villa with all the candidates for deputies proposed by the regional leaders.

After the meeting with the Socialist leader, the Presidency will be the one to decide on those who will be part of the list and their positioning.

We recall that Rama previously declared that MPs with more than two mandates, including himself, will run on the open list, while young people will run on the closed list in safe seats.

The final list is expected to be made official on March 12 according to the legal deadlines set by the Electoral Code./ CNA
