Today, on this day, I bow with reverence to the mothers, sisters, and noble Albanian women who were shot, imprisoned, and exiled. Today, I publicly protest that there is no memorial in Tirana dedicated to anti-communist mothers and sisters!
Thousands of mothers, sisters and women went through the ordeal of suffering in prisons and concentration camps, finding support for their fathers, brothers and sons, under the whip of communist executioners, but they did not humble themselves, they stood proudly against torture and conveyed national resilience and pride!
