DP Presidency Member Grigels Muçollari, in a statement to the media, stated that the delay in investigations into the international trafficking of toxic substances is suspicious and unacceptable.

Muçollari emphasizes that investigations are being obstructed and transparency is not being achieved. He underlines that all this is being done to protect the careers of two of Rama's ministers, Mirela Kumbaro and Piro Vëng.

While 10 days ago another quantity of toxic waste was seized in Ancona, after it had left Durrës, the Prosecution has still not found the laboratory to conduct analyses for the 102 containers, which were rejected last summer by Thailand and returned to where they had left, to our largest port.

6 months after they were seized and the proceedings began, the Durrës Prosecutor's Office announces that it has finally identified a laboratory.

This delay in the investigation is suspicious. This delay in the investigation is of interest to this building here. The Basel Network and the EU office, OLAF, were ready to help. But the prosecution took over the case.
