The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has launched an attack on Prosecutor Ols Dado using his social networks and media, but it turns out that the prosecutor, who has been widely accused by the Mayor of Tirana, has issued several consecutive decisions in favor of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Specifically, it concerns a decision regarding criminal proceedings 39/10 of 2016, a criminal case initiated on 05.08.2016, regarding the organization, participation, assembly and illegal demonstrations, threatening a judge and insulting a judge.

So, there are three cases: one case with a break and two other cases from May 2023 related to the elections which were handled by prosecutor Ols Dado.

The first case during his time as a prosecutor at the Tirana Prosecution Office, dismissing the case, and in the other two cases, conducting verifications and forwarding the report to the Tirana Prosecution Office because no facts and evidence were found to accuse Mayor Erion Veliaj.
