The coordinator for the economic program in the Democratic Party, Dorjan Teliti, has presented the Democratic Party's program for the support and empowerment of women.

Teliti, through a post on social media, stated that women's empowerment is the foundation of a strong society.

The program provides support for women entrepreneurs through the elimination of profit tax in the first year of business and state subsidization of social and health insurance for entrepreneurs and staff for 6 months.

In our program for women entrepreneurs:

Waiver of profit tax for the first year for women who open a business.

Social and health insurance subsidy for the first 6 months for women entrepreneurs and their staff, provided that at least 50% of the staff are women or young people under 30 years old.

"Education, training and promotion for women entrepreneurs and artisans, creating more space for their success," writes Teliti.

The economic program for women also provides for the lifelong exemption from income tax for women with more than 4 children.

Part of the package are also baby bonuses and full maternity leave for 365 days.

Baby bonuses are expected to range from 1,000 euros to 5,000 euros and the child will be supported until the age of 23.

"Support for mothers and families:

Lifetime exemption from income tax for every mother with 3 or more children and for the spouse if the family has 4 or more children.

Maternity leave with full financial benefit guaranteed for 365 days.

Birth bonus:

€1,000 for the first child.

€2,000 for the second child.

€3,000 for the third child.

€5,000 for the fourth child and more children

The state budget will cover the costs of a third child or more until the age of 23.
