Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi has stated to the media that the resumption of Vetting in the Police during the campaign has nothing to do with the elections.
Çuçi says that this is a process that follows the implementation of the law.
" Police vetting was suspended a long time ago by law and we took the right time to redo the law or change the Police Vetting law.
We approved the new changes, where we envisioned and started Vetting only for the management part, removing from vetting the large body of the State Police.
It has nothing to do with the elections, it is a process that continues in accordance with the law", said Çuçi./ CNA.al
