Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has described his return to the head of the Democratic Party as a call against the current government.

In an interview with Alban Dudushin, Berisha said that today the opposition is led by citizens and ordinary people.

" From 1992 until today, this is the first campaign that does not receive salaries in the state but comes voluntarily. My opponent takes the employees by force. At the head of the opposition now are the oppositionists who have nothing to do with the government. Returning is not a rule, but it is a call ," he said.

Berisha emphasized that this is the first time in 32 years of democracy that the opposition does not represent any institution.

" In these 32 years, the opposition has always had the institutions it has run. CEC, KLSH, and this time all the powers belong to a party, to a man who does not apply the constitution, norm and principle. A man who withdraws on the basis of his pathological desires.
