The candidate of the opposition coalition "We Win Together", Belind Këlliçi shook hands with citizens, merchants, pensioners, students, people with disabilities, and socialists disappointed by the bad governance, in Unit 8 in Tirana.

He shared with the citizens the 5 priorities of his program for running the municipality after May 14, once again emphasizing his main commitment, the free bus. Kelliçi said that the free public transport service will also be offered to rural areas.

"How much lek do you have the ticket there? 1 thousand ALL! I will make it zero after May 14. Trust me, look at me here, I'll do it. Not to come by bike, for toads. Toads, you have a problem, I know," said Këlliçi.

As he met dozens of entrepreneurs in this area, Belind Kelliçi distributed his program for small businesses for local taxes and fees, some of which will be zero, while others will be reduced by up to 50%.

"For public space? We'll cut it in half. I have talked endlessly about this work and that is why I am saying that we will cut it in half. Did they bother you with the taxes? We'll take them down, I don't know if you've seen them. We will remove the education infrastructure tax. I don't believe that you have a public space here, but we will remove part of the taxes", said Këlliçi.

Citizens worried about the government's draft decision, which foresees the demolition of buildings over 50 years old, received assurances from the opposition candidate that their homes will not be affected. Belind Kelliçi said that in cases where there will be a need for an audit, it will be carried out with the approval of the citizens, as he emphasized that at the moment when the building will have to be intervened, the owners of the apartments will receive the same area of ??property as they have had earlier. He said that the robbery of citizens' property will be stopped.

"Residents will be calm that their house will not be affected. And second, residents need to know what's going on. That there may be buildings that may need intervention, but this must be decided together with the residents. Even if it is to become a project, you know. This project will happen, I have so many square meters, I have 80 meters, I have 70 meters, I will take 70! What has happened here these years with the mayor is terrible. People were taken out of the house with tear gas, they were taken out by force. What happened at "Myslym Keta" last time was terrible, they cut the lights, at 4 o'clock in the morning they cut off the water. On May 5, with tear gas in the middle of the night. During the conversation with citizens, some of them expressed complaints to the Local Inspectorate of Territory Protection. Belind Kelliçi raised accusations that the head of this institution no longer serves the interests of the citizens, as he uses his public position to receive tenders from institutions that depend on the municipality of Tirana, where he himself is an employee. For such officials, Belind Kelliçi promised accountability after May 14.

Teksa shtrëngoi duart me shumë qytetarë dhe mori besimin e tyre për 14 majin, Belind Këlliçi dëgjoi edhe problemet që shqetësojnë aktualisht banorët e Tiranës. Pensionistët janë ndër kategoritë më të prekura nga kriza e çmimeve, ndërsa përballen me vështirësi të përballimit të kostove të jetesës për shkak të pensioneve të ulëta.

“Bëni mirë të ktheni sytë nga shtresa jonë, se jemi pjesë e shoqërisë. 29 vjet kam punuar me Tensionin e Lartë dhe jam dëmtuar në shtyllë kurrizore. Me 40% të zemrës në punë nuk marr asnjë lloj gjëje. Pse s’kam një vit sigurime në pesë vitet e fundit, nuk kam. Për këtë situatë, Belind Këlliçi ironizoi kryebashkiakun aktual të Tiranës, Erion Veliaj, i cili vite më parë kur bëri dy dasma luksoze, deklaroi se shpenzimet për to i kishte nga kursimi i pensionit të nënës së tij.

“Unë u jap një sugjerim: ai meqë ka shitur fiq, dhe meqë i ka dalë pensioni i nënës 500 milionë lekë për të bërë dasëm, të shkojë të jetojë me pensionin e nënës se paska lekë. Ta provojë njëherë pensionin e popullit, të shohë si jeton populli dhe ta marrë vesh mirë. Ai do të jetë leksioni më i mirë që i jepet nga njerëzit një politikani mashtrues, në 14 maj. Ta garantoj se kështu siç jeni ju, çdo ditë, unë eci me orë të tëra, jam 8 orë në ditë ecje nëpër rrugë e Tironës, kështu si ju janë të gjithë, kështu si ju janë të gjithë, asnjëri nuk ia jep votën”-u shpreh Këlliçi.
