Bejko unveils the program for culture/ promises support to artists

The candidate of the DP of Alibeaj for the Municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko, visited the exhibition with works by several young artists in the presence of the director Armand Bora and Gjergj Hani.

During the visit, he stopped at the cultural program in Tirana and promised support for artists.

Bejko said that the Municipality will guarantee loans in support of artists and mediate with second-level banks for cultural projects that will be approved by the Municipality.

Another point of the program is the involvement of all citizens in art and culture activities, even if they do not have the opportunity.

This will be made possible through a culture card, which will be made available to all graduates, students, pensioners, people with different abilities, as well as those who do not have financial means.

"A city without art, without culture is dead. It does not exist. It is not called a city, because they give it the meaning that art and culture are the soul. Mural, municipal infrastructure, etc., simply create a living environment. Art gives life to that environment dynamic housing, creates social balances, mitigates conflicts.

We are for a polycentric Tirana. It means that we want to extend polycentrism to all levels, not just in matters of construction or city planning. Polycentrism should also be in the question of the scope of art. We have all lived abroad, we have seen, in Western countries that there is art in every neighborhood.
