The General Secretary of the PD of Alibeaj, Gazmend Bardhi, has responded again to the Constitutional Court, which postponed the hearing for the consideration of the lawsuit of the Democratic Party against the VKM for the actions for constructions without permission.

Bardhi says that the court cannot gain public trust with political statements, but by implementing the law and the Constitution.

He says that the Constitutional Court is behaving as a subordinate of the government and is legalizing the oligarchs' constructions without permission.

The Constitutional Court as a subordinate of the government for the VKM that legalizes the constructions without permission of the oligarchs!

I see that the Constitutional Court is worried about its trust in the public after my statement today in the session that the Court has fallen prey to Edi Rama's blackmail. Public trust is not established by political statements, but by implementing the law and the Constitution. It is not set by multiple standards, nor by behaving like government subordinates and mercenaries of oligarchs, as this Court has recently done. How can the Constitutional Court establish trust in the public, when it is not impartial and overturns its own decisions in these 30 years of existence?!

Today, this Court did not accept that we, as petitioners for the repeal of the VKM that legalizes constructions without permission of the oligarchs, be insulted by the authorization of the Chairman of the parliamentary group, but by the signatures of the petitioning 28 MPs. An unprecedented case since this Court exists in democracy. In 3 decades, every time DP or SP has filed a case in the Constitutional Court, the deputies have been represented with the authorization of the Chairman of the Group. Today, the Constitutional Court changed this standard to serve the government and the oligarchs again. How can Albanians trust this court, when the Court acted differently for our representation, e.g. for the request for the Food Board, for the Fuel Board, for the request for Olta Xhaçka's mandate, for the Becheti Commission of Inquiry and hundreds of other issues over the course of 30 years.

The answer is simple. The Constitutional Court is giving time to the government and is serving it by issuing these ridiculous excuses so that the government can pass a new law on this matter, as well as giving time to the oligarchs to arrange their papers and benefit unconstitutionally from the legalization of their properties. illegal and amnesty from criminal proceedings.
