The opposition candidate for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, held a meeting with girls and women, where he discussed the 5 priorities he has to mitigate the burdensome cost of living and to offer solutions to Tirana's big problems.

The opposition candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, unveiled a program that directly affects the living, social conditions, education, economy and career of women and girls in Tirana. Initially, Belind Këlliçi expressed the conviction that with the involvement of women and girls in the campaign, on May 14, the model that is currently in charge of the municipality of Tirana will be overthrown, to pave the way for change.

"I, together with all of you, honorable ladies of the city, will dare to defeat a model such as this model that we have today at the head of the municipality of Tirana. I firmly believe that the result on May 14 will be surprising due to the commitment of the women in Tirana, who I see everywhere with a smile, they welcomed me very well", he said.

Kelliçi spoke about his project starting with free public transport. According to him, currently women and girls are the most numerous users of urban in the capital.

Belind Këlliçi, stated that for his second biggest commitment, solving the traffic problem with the "Skënderbej Square" underpass, women have been his main impetus.

"Not only in this program, but in my entire program that is being presented in Tirana, you should know that one of my main motivations have been women, to present the second most sensational promise that was made in this competition, the underpass to "Skënderbej Square" to solve the traffic issue in Tirana. It frees up 60% of the traffic", claimed the opposition candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

Another commitment of Belind Këlliç for Tirana, which directly affects mothers with children but also young women, is that for asim.

"My main focus will be to use the social housing tax of 3% in the first two years to build nurseries and kindergartens in every unit of Tirana, in order to accommodate all the children of Tirana. Voucher for nurseries or private gardens. For every child who cannot be registered in public institutions, the municipality of Tirana will give 100,000 ALL per month. The 8% obtained from building permits will be used to build enough schools to end the collective hysteria of 40-child classes. Also, the fourth point related to these, is the program after schools, to create a series of different educational, sports and artistic activities for the children" - said Belind Këlliçi.

Following this line, Belind Këlliçi added that he will promote and help improve the social status of women in society.

"Of course, education is one of the ways to improve the social status of women in society. Therefore, I will commit myself to help as much as possible to cover school expenses for families in need. Even for women, we will design a special program of scholarships to help families, to send their talented daughters to university and to trainings inside or outside the country," said the opposition candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

During the meeting with the women, Belind Kelliçi did not fail to mention the situation with corruption in the municipality of Tirana, where according to him, after May 14, he will declare war on this phenomenon without compromise.

"You may have seen my poster that I published on the streets of Tirana, about the phenomenon of corruption, circulating on social networks everywhere. Even many people are outraged, this is what it is, it is not ethical, etc. etc. what you posted in some places in Tirana. But no one says what I posted it for? I posted it to talk about corruption. The corruption that is taking the future from your children, is taking it from us, is taking it from the youth, and I have decided to fight corruption without any compromise and without any code of ethics in the municipality of Tirana, because today we have the most corrupt in Albania called the municipality of Tirana led by Erion Veliaj", he said.

During the meeting, many women and mothers expressed their support for Kelliç, declaring that they will vote for him because they were convinced by his program.
