The opposition's candidate for the capital, Belind Kelliçi, denounced corruption in the Municipality of Tirana, which had given tenders and construction permits to the director of IMT, Mariglen Qatos.

We have information about some of the directors of the municipality of Tirana who have not used direct family ties, but very close social ties. We have decided to speak with facts. We have nepotistic ties Mrs. Elisabeta Cjapi and Taulant Cjapi are sister and brother who are the brothers-in-law, sister and brother of Mariglen Qato's wife and of course Mariglen Qato's brother, Klevis Qato who works in the municipality. That lady is the director of finance at UKT. Mariglen Qato first worked at UKT, was a board member and manager. In 2018 he rose to the position and became director of IMT Tirana. Mariglen Qato, Redi Molla who was general director and Elvin Tivari, a connection that comes out later, worked three together in UKT.

To the tenders by years. Muhamet Petriti is the father-in-law of Alfred Qatos who is the brother of Mariglen Qatos.
