On Wednesday, in a press conference, the head of the Parliamentary Group of the SP, Bledi Çuçi, commented on the issue of the mandate of MP Olta Xhaçka. 

He said that he feels sorry for the decision, while declaring that the Constitutional Court has tried to create a new legal norm, which the Constitution does not allow. He insisted that the Socialist Party will request an opinion from the Venice Commission on Xha?ka's case.

Regarding these statements, the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, told the journalists that the non-implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court is a criminal offense, this was consumed by Blendi Çuçi.

"The head of the SP Group has decided not to implement the decisions of the Constitutional Court. They have violated the Constitution. We are in a dictatorship, the basic principles of the rule of law have fallen. We are in the conditions of civil disobedience", said Bardhi. 

On July 10, the President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, emphasized that the decision of January 2023 has not yet been implemented by the Assembly. Zaçaj said that court decisions should not be discussed, but should be implemented by politics without delay. /CNA
