Dear friends and acquaintances!

Today, in accordance with the legal provisions and within the deadline, we filed the APPEAL against the decision of the Court of Appeal on the issue of the DP seal and symbols. As a lawyer, I think that the decision of the Appeal was unfair and taken contrary to the law and the duties left by the Supreme Court.

Personally, I think that whether as a lawyer or a member of a political force, we should have a standard for attitudes towards the Courts' decision. They should not be commented on under any circumstances, and even more so the jury should be slandered. I followed this standard for the decision of the Court of Appeal. Professionally, I am obliged to present any objection I have regarding the decision-making according to the legal way, specifically through the recourse that was filed today with the approval of Mr. Basha.

The filing of the appeal also marked my last political act. I have decided that my political journey will end here. This decision comes as a long and difficult reflection for me, but necessary for the conditions and circumstances.

My decision is not influenced either by the fatigue from the battles of the last years, nor by the long and arduous efforts to offer a new alternative. Although I have to be honest with myself and the democrats I have met during this journey and admit that I, as someone who came into politics with good intentions and consistent attitudes, could not win the battle with Sali Berisha, the current and the spirit that he has led for more than 30 years in politics and in DP.

My attitudes towards Sali Berisha, his politics and courtiers are public and I continue to believe in every attitude and statement I have made. Personally, it is impossible for me to be included in that group of people who today wear the symbols of the DP and with whom I do not share the same human values ??and citizenship or political coherence.

For me, politics should carry values ??and morals and should even be guided by them. As long as I do not see and find these values ??in the PD that owns the symbols, I cannot be part of it.

Every democrat and oppositionist will always have my gratitude for all the sacrifices he was forced to go through during all the difficult and long years of opposition. I am and will always remain a representative of the values ??of the right and the democrats. This time not in active politics, but always following political developments and my dream: a right-wing DP, with values ??and principles with which it was formed more than 30 years ago.
