In a conference for the media where the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, was also present, Tedi Blushi denounced that yesterday at the meeting of the Municipal Council of Tirana there was a mafia scenario for bloodshed.

He said that the mayor of the municipality, Erion Veliaj, was wearing bulletproof vests, and this also explains why he was wearing a sweatshirt at a temperature of 40 degrees, in the middle of July.

According to him, there were civilians inside the hall who are suspected to have been armed.

"In the hall of the Municipal Council there was a mafia scenario for bloodshed. The provoked incident was staged. According to very reliable sources, I was informed that the Mayor was wearing bulletproof vest and this also explains the fact why in 40 degree temperature , in the middle of July, he was wearing a sweatshirt. Inside the hall, there were civilians who were suspected of being armed. This is where yesterday's incident started, after I asked the President of the Council to clarify who these civilians were. allowed in the meeting while the media is not allowed there and citizens are not allowed to participate to raise their concerns", said Blushi.

The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, was escorted last night by the police for 5 hours after the report by Halit Valteri about the violence at the Municipal Council meeting.
