The American Secretary of State, Mr. Antony Blinken, arrived in Tirana today. A definitely historic visit, a diplomatic political event, the visits of the secretaries of state, are not random and do not happen very often. 

About six American secretaries of state have come to Albania, but the special case of Blinken is because he is the person who signed the "non grata" for the former prime minister of the country, Sali Berisha, 8 years after he had left task. 

Debates and strong attitudes towards him from politics, from the opposition, but still he is the American Secretary of State and is an important point of reference for world diplomacy and in Albania, being of this small country, the ally of the USA is another story that American diplomacy makes about the importance it gives to the partnership with our country. 

But all these political, diplomatic and media approaches also have a detail.

It is anxiously awaited, will Erion Veliaj meet Secretary Blinken, after he has confirmed on the agenda his meetings with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, Prime Minister Edi Rama, President Bajarm Begaj, with Fulbright students or even with representatives of embassy.
