The meeting with Rama/ the President of the Council of Europe clarifies the discussions

The President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel, held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama this Wednesday.

Through a status on social networks, Michel clarified the topics of discussion and gave a message.

The President of the Council of Europe expresses support for the integration process and welcomes the initiative to hold a summit in Tirana for Ukraine.

"With Edi Rama, we discussed Albania's progress on the road to the EU and our support throughout the journey. The future of the Western Balkans is in the EU. I also welcomed the initiative to host a Western Balkans-Ukraine regional summit in Tirana. The EU is grateful for Albania's and the region's support for Ukraine," he said in his statement./ CNA
