On Wednesday, after the union of a part of the democrats, Gazment Bardhi together with Flamur Noka started meetings with the base.

From the first stop in the city of Shkodra, asked by journalists if he already knows Sali Berisha as chairman, Gazment Bardhi says that he respects the decision of the majority of members.

"This is clear in all the answers I have given. As long as the majority of the members have chosen me and everyone must respect the will of the majority of the party members", said Bardhi. 

For Bardhi, the process of unification has taken place, while for the group of deputies of Basha, he says that they are following the wrong path, while an invitation is extended to them for unification. 

"The union has happened. There are a handful of Democrats who are still on the wrong track. From Shkodra, I invite you to join PD, to join the battle against Edi Rama. Their path to be in front of the opposition and not in front of Rama is a wrong path that does not help Albania and the opposition people", said Bardhi. 

The head of the DP Parliamentary Group also gave a message to all the supporters of Lulzim Basha. 

"I believe that everyone should be in the DP, I don't want you to divide the democrats into groups. Each of them has a place in the Democratic Party, alongside the Democrats in front of Rama. Whoever chooses another path does not represent PD", said Bardhi./ CNA
