Spahia: Citizens know how Edi Rama's vote-stealing scheme works

The elected MP of the Democratic Party in the Shkodra district, Bardh Spahia, said today that it is clear to every citizen how Prime Minister Edi Rama's vote-stealing scheme works.

Invited to 'Syri Tv', Spahia stated that two mandates were stolen and that the facts are shocking.

Spahia said that for the opposition there is nothing more important than the fight to once again restore free voting to Albanian citizens.

"It is not by chance that I have said that two mandates were stolen or alienated in various forms. It is not just theft, we must bear in mind that it was an attack on the free vote in a multidimensional plan. I am talking about theft, I am talking about buying, I am talking about threats, about pressure and use of public administration and all state institutions, about use of organized crime and their dirty money. But I really think and believe that I have the right to say this as a good connoisseur of campaigns and the situation in the territory of not only the Shkodra municipality but also the entire region. I have the absolute conviction that at least two mandates are taken away from the DP and the opposition through this model that Edi Rama has now turned into an institution.

The facts are there, the facts are screaming. It is clear to every citizen how the scheme has worked and how Edi Rama's scheme works. And I have not said that with Edi Rama there can be no free elections.

And answering your question about what our concrete action or actions will be, I think that there is nothing more important, and I'm not talking about political rhetoric, nothing more important than the fight to once again restore the free vote to Albanian citizens, or to Shkodra citizens in the case of representatives, MPs of Shkodra, for the Albanian opposition and the Democratic Party.  

The war is urgent. It must start not today, it should have started yesterday, It has started for the sake of truth by referring to the colossal work that the DP and President Berisha are doing to document the alienation in various forms of the vote of Albanian citizens, even through the presentation of those irrefutable facts of those videos that are already giving every Albanian citizen to understand how their vote has functioned and how it has been alienated. How the state and its structures, the Socialist Party, have intervened. The party-state, let's say, that now, the party and the state have become one in the alienation of their vote, in the destruction of a process that should be a process that reflects the will of the citizens, but in fact is now completely controlled by Edi Rama. We must find a solution to this and this must be our objective", -said Spahia. /CNA
