The chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Niko Peleshi, today criticized opposition MPs from the Assembly for not being present in parliamentary committees.

During his speech to the deputies, Peleshi stated that the majority is ready to double the number of draft laws, but this also requires work from the opposition.

Peleshi added that with or without the DP, the work of the Assembly will be concluded successfully.

"There are 20 acts to be approved. Parliament does not begin and end on this podium, but throughout the week. You are not in committees, then you ask why other initiatives, draft laws are not introduced. We have 20 draft acts, we can make them 40 if you want, but it takes work. Someone has to work, come to the meeting, not for a quorum, but to participate in the process of draft acts. Citizens should also know, you do not come to committees and in how many committees a quorum is not created, this is because very few members of the opposition participate in committees. Let's approve the draft acts. But, with or without you, we will successfully close this Assembly to start in September", - said Peleshi./CNA
