The Democratic Party candidate in the Durrës Region, Aulon Kalaja, said today that he will continue with other complaints to continue his battle for the mandate from the May 11 elections.
In a television interview, Kalaja emphasized that he did not start this battle simply for a mandate, but for the principle of laying a foundation stone so that every candidate in the upcoming elections will have the right to appeal.
"I will continue with other complaints, because I have not started this battle simply for a mandate, but for the principle of establishing a cornerstone so that every candidate tomorrow in the next elections will have the right to complain. The Electoral Code, which states that candidates are not legitimized, in my opinion has violated the constitution, I will continue the complaint to the Electoral College and the Constitutional Court, and if it is not resolved, I will go to the European Court of Human Rights," said Kalaja./CNA
