MP Asllan Dogjani accused today that uncritical construction in Tirana has resulted in the capital no longer having any free space.

During his speech in the Assembly, Dogjani said that Tirana and other cities in Albania need many other things besides today's draft law on energy efficiency.

Dogjani also mentioned several other concerns of citizens, such as the lack of sanitation and rising prices.

"You have rejected political science. In this situation that Albania is in, where 1.5 million Albanians have left, you have increased your votes. Meanwhile, criminal groups have begun to intervene to gain experience in how skilled you are at manipulating votes."

You are promoting this bill as increasing energy efficiency, while Albania, Tirana, needs many other things. I agree on paper, but the reality is different. In Tirana, construction is without criteria. You have left no place without construction. You have made their lives uninhabitable. There is no free space left in Tirana.

"You have taken the breath away from Tirana and Albania and you are getting votes, except for theft. Meanwhile, the citizens have no roads or sewers. Prices have increased," Dogjani said. /CNA
