Director Dhimitër Anagnosti passes away/Rama: Father of Albanian cinema,

Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social media, has sent a message of condolences on the passing of the well-known filmmaker Dhimitër Anagnosti.

Rama has shared personal memories with Anagnosti since his childhood. Rama considers him the father of Albanian cinematography.

" The father of Albanian cinema, the author of many scripts that marked the path of our new cinematography in an extremely difficult time for creative dreams, the director of many successful films and the cult film "Poppies on the Walls" that has remained today as the headliner of the screen of the history of Albanian cinema, the master respected by both young and old and the stubborn wanderer who could hardly wait for summer to escape from the city that had gone downhill, to his childhood home in Vlora, and later to his seaside hut in Jalë, Barba Taqo as I knew him when I was very little and he was still very young or Dhimitër Anagnosti, as all film lovers and all those who loved him or not know him, passed away after always living with his head held high.
