Integration expert Ilda Zhulali commented today on the speech given by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the forum held in Bled, Slovenia.

Invited to 'Syri Tv', Zhulali stated that the theatrical jokes made by Rama do not suit a serious prime minister of a country that aspires to join the European Union.

Zhulali said that Rama cannot lecture Europe, as he is a prime minister who has led the Albanian economy in an unwise direction.

"A serious prime minister of a country that aspires to become an EU member state should have a work record, but Rama could not do it, as long as he goes there as a prime minister who does not know how to hold free and fair elections."

He once again used this forum to make a spectacle of himself with his jokes. Because a prime minister who has led the economy in an unwise direction has no business giving Europe geostrategic lessons, as the EU insists on changing its economic model.

"With EU funds abused due to a huge pit of corruption and crime that he has created in Albania. He presented Albanians as a people ready to submit to any empire," Zhulali said./CNA
