"Open protest for every opposition force"/ Muçollari's

Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, in an interview with CNA, stated that it is expected that there will be broad citizen participation in tomorrow's protest.

According to Muçollari, today Albanian citizens are directly facing the consequences of structural corruption, the continuous increase in prices, the inability to buy or rent a home, economic insecurity and lack of prospects, especially for young people.

"We expect broad citizen participation, beyond opposition membership. Today, citizens are directly affected by misgovernance, rampant structural corruption, rising prices, the inability to buy or rent a home, economic insecurity and lack of perspective. This protest is a reaction to a government that has failed and does not allow rotation through free voting," said Muçollari.

Muçollari said that the protest is open to any opposition force and any citizen who demands free elections.

"This protest is open to any opposition force and to any citizen who demands free elections. The request for a caretaker government is not a party request, but a minimum democratic condition to guarantee a fair and competitive electoral process for all parties," emphasizes the member of the DP Presidency.

Muçollari addressed the citizens with an appeal.

"This protest is for your daily lives. For the families who can't afford rent, for the parents who work all month and still can't make it, for the young people who no longer see a future here and are forced to leave. For the pensioners who have had their dignity taken away. It can't be normal that in a small country a handful of people get rich, while the majority live in fear of the next bill.

When votes are stolen, when corruption is protected by power, when Parliament is silent and the state no longer functions, citizens have only one way: to stand up and speak out. This protest is for dignity, for the right to live with your work, to have a state that protects you and not oppresses you.

"Going out in protest is a demand for technical government and free elections, but above all it is a demand for hope. Silence today means acceptance of poverty, injustice and the desertification of Albania tomorrow."/ CNA
