Debates in Parliament/ Ndoka: Rama's statements are cynical, political

PDK leader Nard Ndoka spoke about the recent debates in the parliamentary session held the day before, where Prime Minister Edi Rama addressed the opposition that he would ultimately raise the cards for the Peace Board and for him as a representative.

In an interview with CNA, Ndoka said that Prime Minister Rama's statements are cynical.

He emphasized that political history is not written with cards but with responsibility, and Rama's record there is zero.

"The Prime Minister's statements in parliament are cynical and typical of a government that feels untouchable. He is right about one thing, the cards were raised. But political history is not written with cards, it is written with responsibility, and there his balance is zero," said Ndoka.

Furthermore, Ndoka commented on President Trump's invitation for Albania to be part of the Peace Board, as well as Prime Minister Rama's position.

"Trump's invitation was institutional, for the Prime Minister of Albania, not for Edi Rama as an individual. The irony is that he was invited as the Prime Minister of a country, but chose to behave like a nanny."

"Trump invited him for politics, Rama chose to keep his daughter. A personal right, of course, but also a political justification that will be remembered more than the invitation itself," Ndoka said./ CNA
