Kapri reveals Rama's big "problem": He is trying to send a

"Mundësia" Party MP Erald Kapri has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of avoiding political responsibility and acting in the interest of private investors, to the detriment of state interests.

In a statement to the media, Kapri said that, beyond the "ugly session" in Parliament and the Prime Minister's attacks, Rama's main concern remains justice. According to him, the Prime Minister is trying to send a message to SPAK and the Constitutional Court that he enjoys international support and that he should not be investigated.

He also focused on the issue of Minister Belinda Balluku, describing the situation as delicate, as according to him she has not resigned and there are accusations of pressure on witnesses.

Kapri stressed that the majority of Albanians demand punishment for corruption and that the opposition will continue this battle through protests.

"Beyond that ugly session with the Prime Minister's attacks, how is it possible that the Prime Minister is not held accountable? Faced with the private interest of the investor, the Prime Minister chooses this and not the state interest."

The Prime Minister has a big problem and his problem is justice. He is trying to send a message to SPAK and GJK that he has Trump's protection and don't you dare open an issue with me like you did with Balluk. The biggest pressure is on the Constitutional Court.

In the Balluku case, the situation is delicate because he does not resign and the prosecution says he has put pressure on witnesses. Most Albanians want the punishment of corruption and this is what we are trying to do with the protests. Balluku has finished his work, no matter how much he tries to delay it, he will be held accountable, but what remains is Rama's fate", he said./ CNA
