The problem with kindergartens in Tirana/ Rama: The population is growing faster

Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the problem with the state of kindergartens in Tirana is due to population growth, which according to him is growing faster than the possibilities for building new kindergartens.

In his speech during a hearing with the citizens of Unit No. 2 in the capital, Rama stated that the entire situation was created mainly due to the ratio of public spaces that are state property.

"The problem with the gardens is that the population in Tirana is growing. It is growing faster than the possibilities. But above all because of the property-state situation. Fortunately, after decades of effort, we are managing to impose public space, where regardless of the title of ownership, it cannot be occupied or fenced off, nor used for other activities because it is for the use of the community", said Rama. /CNA
