The Democratic Party held a meeting with Albanians and diaspora activists in London this Sunday.

Floriana Garo, member of the Presidency of the DP, said that Albania has become a paradise for foreigners and visitors and a curse for Albanians.

She stated that despite the propaganda, the bad governance of Edi Rama these 11 years has driven away over 1 million Albanians.

"We are right-wing, with faith in the family, in God and in the nation. We are all Albanians and we all want the best for our Albania. I am convinced that you have been integrated in the best way and that Great Britain has given you many opportunities for which you feel grateful, but all of us, in one way or another, think how to contribute to our Albania.

A country with fabulous natural wealth, traditions and culture, exceptional cuisine, vibrancy and life. Our dear Albania, in the last 10 years, has turned into a paradise for foreigners and visitors and a curse for Albanians.

Despite the facades and propaganda, the bad governance of Edi Rama these 11 years has left over 1 million Albanians.

Before, young people left, now the middle class and whole families are leaving.

A dignified life is not possible for them…

You feel this change, you know how difficult it is to live in Albania without income, without opportunities, without work. A part of you, I am convinced, have left precisely because of this impossibility and uncertainty about the future. Otherwise, who would want to leave their family and loved ones behind? Who does not miss the sun, the food and the wonderful sea of ??Albania?

I am convinced that a part of you thinks of returning one day... a day when Albania offers every hope and opportunity for a better future.

This is exactly what we aim to achieve as a Democratic Party. With your support and your trust, let's come to power and ensure a dignified life for our citizens", emphasized the member of the Presidency of the DP./ CNA
