The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, delivered an online speech at the commemoration ceremony of 39 intellectuals of Tirana, killed by communist terror in November 1944.

Berisha said that November 17, 80 years ago, marked the replacement of the foreign invader with an equal invasion led by Enver Hoxha.

He said that we must humble ourselves with the greatest respect before the work of the victims of this massacre, their families.

The head of the DP declared that the greatest obligation and honor that can be given to the sacrifice of the martyrs of the October-November massacre, is to stand up against the government.

"On November 17, Enver Hoxha's terrorist gang, completely transformed into a puppet of Belgrade, would establish its power in Tirana, after having transformed the Albanians' struggle for freedom and national dignity, into a fratricidal anti-national war.

Today, we honor 39 victims of the October-November massacre. Actually there are over 100 of them.
