Tuesday's protest/ Berisha reveals the scenario

On Tuesday, as a marathon session is expected to take place in the Parliament for the approval of the draft budget of 2025, the opposition will protest.

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has revealed that there will be mobilization by opposition MPs inside and outside the Assembly.

The leader of the opposition explained that the goal of the opposition is to approve the amendment that establishes the minimum living wage.  

"There will be mobility, inside and outside the parliament. Our goal is to approve the amendment that establishes the vital minimum, 200 euros for every Albanian who receives less than that, or who receives nothing.

So this is a vitally important first step to quell the wailing sirens of misery and poverty across the country. Of course, these sirens scream more than anywhere else, among Albanian pensioners", said Berisha./ CNA
