PL MP, Petrit Vasili, accused the Assembly and the Government of the protest being held by the opposition.

Vasili said that the Parliament has turned into a barracks of the Guard of the Republic.

He said that filling the Parliament with guards and removing the immunity of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha shows Prime Minister Edi Rama's fear of the truth.

"We are together today because we don't have a Parliament. We have a Guard barracks. It has not been seen in the history of pluralism that there are 80 deputies and 280 policemen and guards in the Parliament hall. Do you understand where Albania has reached?!

Do you understand that there are no cameras and scanners in prisons?! The scanner has to check the MPs. Do you understand what is done? Do you realize that any of us and all those who are not here can go home and have their property taken?! Was he kidnapped?! And there is no one to protect them.
