Today the Council of Mandates is meeting for the immunity of Berisha/Opposition,

This Monday, the Council for Regulation, Mandates and Immunity is expected to hold a meeting, where they will discuss the authorization by the Assembly to remove the immunity of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The meeting will take place in the Presidency of the Assembly, at 12:00.

But the opposition has organized a national protest in front of the Presidency of the Assembly, half an hour before the start of the meeting.

The opposition has called for a protest, as it claims that the Parliament is detached from reality and does not represent the troubles and problems of the citizens.

In its slogan, the Albanian opposition has called itself an "opposition of denied rights"

The protest will continue on Thursday, when, most likely, the plenary session will vote on the granting of the authorization to remove the former prime minister's immunity./ CNA
