What is expected to happen on Monday/ Details from the opposition protest
Sali Berisha

The former prime minister stated that the Democratic Party started the protests to oust Rama from the government. During a conference with journalists, Berisha did not give details of Monday's protest, as he was asked whether it will be peaceful or not.

As for Monday's protest, he said that it will take place in front of the parliament.

Beirsha underlined that there will be a chain of protests and said that now we will start the season of protests.

"On Thursday we will be in front of the parliament. We have started the protests for the overthrow of the government, let's see on Monday what will happen. Absolutely, this is a protest only for Albania. We have a very big difference with some of today's reasonings. For those who know totalitarianism and dictatorships, this in Albania is absolutely the establishment of a mobocracy dictatorship, a gang dictatorship. But there are others who do not think so because they see that the parliament has some political forces. They see that the media is being controlled, and there are some free voices. They see that people move freely, come and go. But the mobocracy, the dictatorship of the gangs is never a dictatorship with prisons and concentration camps. Gang dictatorship is never isolated. The dictatorship of the gangs is a dictatorship because, just like in an ideological dictatorship, all power is concentrated in the hand of the patriarch, in the hand of one man. The gang dictatorship does have periodic elections, but the gangs determine the outcome. And the patriarchy establishes a whole illegal framework to control the will of the citizens. And these are reality, they are not our inventions. And the dramatic thing is that people believe that elections were held here and this one won. No, he didn't get them. That if I take away from him 583 thousand envelopes in the last elections, if I take away from him tens of thousands of patronages who stood as political police towards the voters, if I take away from him the departure from the voting centers of 1.3 million voters, if I take away from him the money in the hands of endless, the distribution of over 500 million euros in investments, earthquakes, etc., this gentleman can guarantee that he never gets more than the votes of those who steal with him. But we are still in conditions that the dictatorship of the gangs is equally a new dictatorship. Where you are in the parliament, he denies all your rights and makes you unhappy," Berisha said./CNA
