The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, chaired the meeting of the Security Council, where he emphasized the importance of empowering young people in political life and beyond.

Minister Hasani said that young people are the first to be affected by conflicts, as he underlined that the empowerment of young people remains essential for achieving reconciliation and building peace in the region.

"The only way to move forward is to provide young people with the space for joint action. No one is more interested in designing the future than the youth. Young people can contribute to the promotion of diversity and democratic values ??in the region. Albanian youth represents 30% of the population, but 100% of the future. Empowering youth, the best investment for a brighter tomorrow," he said.

The meeting co-organized with Germany and France within the SC on the theme "Empowering young people to address issues of reconciliation, peace and stability: shaping a brighter tomorrow" was a good opportunity for those present to discuss the ways and ways of empowering youth.

On December 31, Albania ends its two-year mandate as a non-permanent member of the Security Council, and today's meeting came within the framework of December, the month of youth./ CNA
