The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was asked this evening if there are elbows within the Socialist Party, regarding the incinerators after the arrests on account of SPAK.

Veliaj did not accept such a thing, as he said that in the SP there is no such wasted energy.

He stated in an interview with Sokol Balla that he is thinking about the 2025 elections, while he accused the DP.

"I don't think so at all, nor do I think at all that the Socialist Party has such ideas or such wasted energies. We have an extraordinary focus now, on the elections of 2025. As the head of the district of Tirana, if I am entrusted with this task again, even for this third big battle, I am super prepared to have an even better result . This is a profitable business, it is a minefield. I have shown integrity in every action, and because I have known that although perhaps as an ancestor, the best way to avoid conflicts is to do nothing.
