The member of the municipal council of Tirana, Ilir Alimehmeti, challenged the mayor Erion Veliaj this Sunday.

Alimehmeti, together with other opposition councilors, went to the Sharra landfill, where they raised the drone to denounce environmental crime.

Remembering the statements made earlier by Veliaj, he challenged the latter to go to the Sharra incinerator, as he pointed out that they are already there.

"We have been asking for public information from Tirana Municipality for months, we have not received it for a moment. At this moment, we requested an interpellation with the mayor, Mr. Veliaj, on December 21, at 4:00 p.m. with the signatures of 22 municipal councilors. And since he made an invitation to come to see the incinerator of Sharra, to see the incinerator of Elbasan, he made this invitation in 2017, that's where we are today.
