Rama: I don't trust the administration, it constantly brings bad news

Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed distrust in the state administration during a meeting with the national negotiation team for membership in the European Union.

Rama said that distrust in the administration incites fear for the progress of Albania's negotiations with the EU.

He stated that he is skeptical about the power, ability and will of the administration, while mentioning the news about officials caught in corruption.

"I was very afraid of the moment of starting the negotiations because it is a very challenging test and I shouldn't actually be at the head of the government to be skeptical about the power, ability and good will of the administration because at the end of Today, this is a job of the Albanian administration, but apparently I am also affected by the virus of mistrust in the administration, which is constantly fed by bad news that is definitely not missing, but which in the meantime cause the vast majority of the administration's work and of administration people who don't make the news not being appreciated enough for what they are and what they do. And in a way, this process is also a silent revenge of the administration and all employees of the Albanian administration", the head of the government emphasized./ CNA
