For the fourth time, the former prime minister has refused to appear at the doors of SPAK, following the decision of the Special Court.

According to the decision, the former prime minister must appear on the first and 3rd Monday of every month at SPAK.

But just like on the other 3 Mondays, even today he did not go before the BKH officers, as he considers the security measure a violation of the law and the Constitution.

Due to the non-appearance, SPAK has sent a letter to the Parliament of Albania, where it requests the change of the security measure from "obligation to appear" to "house arrest".

To consider this request, the Council of Mandates will meet today.

We remind you that SPAK has raised accusations that Berisha has committed the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex. and the direct beneficiary was Malltezi.

On the land of the former complex "Partizani", Malltezi, as an investor from the company "Homeplan" sh.p.k., has carried out constructions and the benefits are calculated in the amount of 672 billion lek or 5 million euros./  CNA
