Former deputy Belind Kelliçi has made strong accusations against the government during his speech at the opposition protest in front of the Presidency of the Assembly.

Kelliçi said that the Council of Mandates is holding a meeting of shame, while he demanded that the mandate of Prime Minister Edi Rama be removed.

"Albania resembles dictatorial regimes, it resembles Russia, where the leader of the opposition is imprisoned, where everything is done to fight the opposition. We are becoming more and more like Venezuela, Myanmar, countries in central Africa where there is a terrible dictatorship. This is the standard that Edi Rama has brought us after ten years at the head of government.
