At the meeting of the Council of Mandates, Lindita Nikolla stated that today's session where the mandate of Sali Berisha is being discussed cannot be suspended or postponed. 

She said, after the request made by the lawyer Gent Gjokutaj, that a decision cannot be made without the SPAK prosecutors expressing themselves. 

"The request has no legal basis. If we are waiting for a decision of the Constitutional Court, we could even suspend it, but we don't have one", said Nikola. 

Meanwhile, MP Enkelejd Alibeaj said that we should not rush to make a decision. 

"Don't rush to make a decision, it belongs to the whole council, you can only give a decision as a member of the council, It is a preliminary request, it should be treated with the utmost respect,", he said ./CNA
