School Safety Package/Balla in Rrogozhina: Rapid cooperation between all

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, in a meeting together with leaders of the local government and the Police in Rrogozhinë, said that for at least safety in schools, rapid cooperation between all structures is needed.

He talked with the educational staff of some of the reconstructed schools of the city and, among other things, urged them for a closer cooperation with the Police, to share any concerns and phenomena that threaten the safety of students.

"Schools, for us, are an object of special importance and anyone who will try to approach within this perimeter must ask himself many times, because the reaction will be very strong. The truth is that these first days of the new year school, we have a significant number of police interventions to create this security perimeter so that no one can break through," said Balla.

Further, the minister was interested in the way of cooperation of educational staff with state authority. He said it is important to make the security form practical.

"Through this form, we have the opportunity to start tracking or predict certain incidents or even track criminal activity that takes place around the school, which in the daily eyes of the Police does not stand out, but through this information that we receive from you we have the opportunity to start investigations", said Balla.

Regarding the problematic phenomena that may appear in the perimeter of security in schools, he requested a faster interaction between all the structures included in the Security Package, namely the educational staff, the police, the local government, the food authority, etc., in order to preceded by every possible situation.

In one of the schools visited, Minister Balla underlined that Rrogozhina, even though it is not a very big city, has these phenomena of cannabis, so more care is needed.
