"In 2030 it will increase fivefold"/ Rama: We will reach the goal of 400 euros average pension
Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at the SP assembly in Berat ...

At the SP Assembly meeting in Berat, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato also said that there is no blockage in the process of Albania's integration into the EU.
Regarding corruption, Rama stated that it exists but is being fought more than ever and that its reduction is seen in economic growth.
Among other things, he stated that the facts, such as the increase in salaries and employment, are many times more valuable than what is said in the media, which Rama refers to as "pots".
"You heard the EU ambassador when he said that there is no blockage of Albania. For months, those who have been saying in the studio that there is no chance of us joining the EU. They are the same ones who, when we made a decision in parliament on a request from the Prosecutor's Office, filled the pots that we lost Europe. These people think Albanians are fools and the more they treat them like this, the more Albanians show their country in the elections. Even foreigners tell me that it is possible that North Macedonia has also had problems but no Macedonian has gone to say block the country. The same goes for Montenegro, but these have fallen to us. We have also been burdened with taking Albania into the EU and growing the economy. They have driven you crazy with the fuss that "corruption has increased", when in fact corruption is being fought more than ever before and is lower. The reduction of corruption is seen in the economy. How is it possible that corruption increases and the income of companies that benefit from tenders also increases. We have taxed more those who have more income. Meanwhile, from construction permits we have earned 14 million euros in taxes. I am ready to confront everyone with facts, while with the decisions of the pots how much one has stolen, or when the other has no charges even from the Prosecutor's Office and the pot says he has stolen billions, it is useless to discuss it. At the end of the day, only the facts count. Wages, employment are increasing. Jobs are being done. Corruption is a problem and we are taking it more seriously than ever" , said Rama. /CNA
