Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with pensioners in Unit 2 in Tirana.

In his speech, Rama said that support for the disabled was also discussed. The socialist leader said that when he took power, he found the country with a per capita income of 3 thousand euros, while now the per capita income is over 11 thousand euros.

Referring to a possible increase in food prices as a result of the war in the Middle East, Rama said that the first group to be considered are pensioners and families in need.

" We also discussed support for the disabled, who have the right to demand equal treatment. Someone who has lost their ability to work due to work cannot be left behind someone who has never worked due to their abilities."

We have moved to another level, we have taken the country with 3 thousand euros in income per capita per year, today we are over 11 thousand euros.

"If food prices increase, we have to cope. The first thing we will think about are pensioners and families in need ," Rama said.
