Albanian students' protest in RMV/ Hoxha: Don't politicize it, handle the issue responsibly

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, at today's media conference, also spoke about the protest of Albanian students in North Macedonia.

Hoxha said that the use of the Albanian language in Northern Macedonia should neither be limited nor discussed as it is a right provided for by law.

Further, the minister said that it is important that the issue be addressed institutionally and not politicized, but rather handled with prudence.

" The students demanded a right. We are following them continuously. The use of the Albanian language in North Macedonia is a right provided for by legislation, it should not be limited or even put into question. It is essential that this issue be addressed institutionally and through dialogue. This issue should not be politicized but treated with prudence and responsibility ," said Hoxha.
