"Incinerators' money is being laundered in Tirana"/ Xhaferri:

Democratic Party MP Besart Xhaferri, in his speech at the protest, stated that money from incinerators, the 'Ndrangheta, and the money from Serbian drug cartels is being laundered in Tirana.

Xhaferri said that it doesn't take a young couple in Tirana even 200 years of work to buy an apartment, and after every project by Edi Rama, a social drama is caused.

" It doesn't even take a young couple in Tirana 200 years of work to buy that apartment. Because with the construction in Tirana, the money of the incinerators, the 'Ndrangheta and Arkan's Serbian cartels is laundered. We have been raising the alarm for four years that young Albanians are turning into tenants of drug traffickers and corrupt officials of Edi Rama.

So together with Dr. Berisha we implemented the project "One Roof for Every Young Couple" in the program. But as OSCE-ODIHR officials said, the drug cartels who did not want to change the status quo on May 11th, unleashed their army of criminals on the streets to kill the free vote on behalf of Edi Rama. An endless case when the inability to buy a house has led young Albanians to drug houses and drug gangs, where in many cases they have become victims of drug cartel clashes. Today I have a question for those socialist parents who have children our age.

How do you feel when you keep in power with your vote a man, under whose government no one holds a drug trafficker with 60 apartments accountable? While your child, a son or daughter who works hard, can never buy their first house and, forced by the increase in the cost of living from the money of crime, takes to the streets of the world. I have a question for you socialists in the districts, who bring your children to study in Tirana. How do you feel when your children, instead of being educated, are forced to do two or three jobs for rent and food, because with their sweat they launder money through rents to drug traffickers and corrupt people. Stop telling me what I need, because behind every project of Edi Rama, in addition to the theft bill, there is also a social drama for thousands of Albanian families. A drama that in many cases also has a painful ending, because from the massive criminalization of society, no one is immune anymore. "And the free people who are in this square and will gather every week, those who have never lost hope, idealism, but above all the desire to live in Albania, will stop this national tragedy that is happening to Albania. Thanking you for the gathering and for this protest, I invite you to the next protest and we will definitely not leave this square without overthrowing Edi Rama ," Xhaferri declared./ CNA
